'Till Death Do Us Part' Gets Three Awards At In-Short Film Festival ...

A short movie directed by multiple award-winning filmmaker, Tope Oshin-Ogun, carted three awards at the In-Short Film Festival recently in Lagos.

The movie which casts OC Ukeje as the lead actor and Tinsel actress, Amaka Anioji, who won the best actress award beating A-list actress, Monalisa Chinda, surprisingly stole the show along with another movie, National Cake, which also won three awards.

Veteran actor, Akintayo Akin Lewis, got best actor from National Cake. The other category that the movie won was for Best Fiction given to the film writer, Yinka Ogun who is one of the writers of Tinsel soap.

Tope Oshin-Ogun who is also one of the directors of the big budget M-Net sponsored soap opera, Tinsel, was elated at the achievement and speaking to Inside Nollywood, she said that she felt honoured receiving the award as best director and hopes to churn more award winning movies.

?I?m grateful to God first and foremost and naturally, as any filmmaker would feel about their work being recognized and winning multiple awards, I am elated and feel very honored at the recent awards, TILL DEATH DO US PART has gathered. The beauty of the movie starts from the writing which was done by Yinka Ogun, my husband, with whom I also produced this movie.

We both developed the story, but he wrote it and did an amazing job of it as is synonymous with all his works. Also, I had two wonderful actors who brought the characters to life, award winning star actor OC Ukeje and award winning actress, Amaka Anioji ?, she said.
